PROFILE

STEFAN ARAND is the championship’s youngest driver and a rising star following a 2025 season of consistent finishes and moments of racing brilliance.

Despite his young age, the Estonian has over a decade of competitive racing experience, having started in 2012 and becoming the GT15 World and European Champion in 2014 and 2015. He was the UIM Junior driver of the year in 2016, 2017 and 2018 and continued his winning ways with world GT15 and GT30 titles in 2017 and 2018. Further titles across categories in the following years clinched Arand the 2023 Driver of the Year at the Estonian Powerboating Union Awards’ Ceremony.

With such an impressive racing record, a call up to F1H2O seemed inevitable, and it came for the 2024 season by Team Vietnam. He found his way in the championship with a set of steady results, finishing the season in tenth. His performances caught the eye of Sharjah Team’s manager Scott Gillman, who snapped up the young talent for the 2025 season.

Gillman’s bet paid off as Arand managed three fourth place finishes, including a stunning performance at the Grand Prix of Shanghai where he started from the back of the field, as well as his maiden F1H2O victory in the final race of the season in Sharjah. By finishing the season fourth in the Drivers’ World Championship, Arand has already established himself as one of the sport’s title contenders.
