PROFILE

GRANT TRASK is one of the sport’s second-generation drivers, following in the footsteps of his father Bob and uncle David.

Coming from a racing family, Trask has been immersed in the sport his whole life, starting out in 2005 and subsequently winning Rookie of the Year trophies in the Australian F3 and F2 Championships. He then won the F3 Championship in 2006, followed by back-to-back titles in the F2 Championship in 2007 and 2008.

It took until 2016 for him to make his F1H2O debut with Emic Racing, followed by a move to F1 Atlantic for the following two years of racing. The Aussie was then absent from the championship until his return for the 2023 season with Mad Croc Gillman Racing, but it took until the 2025 season for Trask’s quality to be on full display. Racing with Team Sweden, Trask achieved his first career podium with a third place finish in Shanghai, followed by a career-best second place finish in Sharjah. He joins Sharjah Team for the 2026 season, expanding the team’s young, exciting line-up.
