TOM CHIAPPE WINS F4-S CHAMPIONSHIP – LINDHOLM WINS RACE 2
F4-S

Saturday, 15 December, SHARJAH (UAE) Emirates Racing’s Tom Chiappe shadowed his Blaze Performance title rival Max Stilz from lights out to the chequered flag to finish in third and clinch the F4-S Championship.

The race win and overall Grand Prix victory went to Alexander Lindholm, clinching the Teams Championship for Team Amaravati.

It was an eventful race for Victory Team driver Ahmed Al Fahim who led from start-to-finish and then taking out his teammate Ali Allanjawi on lap 21 of 25 as he dived down the inside on turn four to lap him, and was then penalised a lap for a jump start dropping him to eighth.

Al Fahim’s jump start was, to say the least, blatantly obvious so Lindholm followed him around and was fortunate not to get caught up in the aftermath of the Victory pile up, ending his four Grand Prix year with his second win of the season and finishing fourth in the standings.
