Tuesday, 12 December, SHARJAH (UAE): Mad Croc BABA Racing driver Sami Selio has confirmed that he will race in this week’s UIM F1H2O Grand Prix of Sharjah.

The race is now on for his team, particularly Massimo Roggiero and Roberto Moliterno, to have the boat which Selio went over in in qualifying ready in time for technical scrutineering which starts at 10.00hrs tomorrow morning. “The last few races have given us plenty of work to do,” Roggiero said. “This kind of repair is not really too much of a problem, we have a couple of broken frames inside to fix, some deck work, tidy up the canopy and then the boat will be ready to race.”

Despite not banking any points after crashing out in the two events in China and in Abu Dhabi last week, Selio still sits in fourth place in the points table and will be looking to try to turn his tide of bad luck and end the season strongly.
