RALF FRÖHLING REMEMBERED

Saturday, 6 April: Former President of the Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM), Ralf Fröhling has died at the age of 75.
From Bergish-Gladbach, Fröhling was a successful businessman, an accomplished Hydroplane driver and UIM Commissioner, holding the office of President from 1987 to 2006 guiding the UIM forward through a period of geographical expansion. “Ralf was widely respected and highly regarded throughout the racing world and is fondly remembered. The sport has lost an internationally renowned figure and the thoughts of the racing community are with his family.” said H2O President Nicolo di San Germano.
