Sunday, January 26: H2O Racing has unveiled a fascinating calendar of seven Grand Prix that will decide the outcome of the 2025 UIM F1H2O World Championship.
The Holy Month of Ramadan falling in March means that there is a late start to the racing calendar this year but H2O Racing is delighted to announce seven world class destinations for the world’s premier single hull racing championship.
The Vietnamese city of Quy Nhơn will host the opening round on the sultry waters of Thi Nai Bay on May 2nd-4th. The inaugural event was a spectacular success in 2024 with tens of thousands of spectators visiting the race site during a memorable racing debut for the southeast Asian powerhouse.
Volcanic Lake Toba will then host the second round on August 22nd-24th. The iconic venue on the Indonesian island of Sumatra will welcome crews for a third year but the shift to an August date will see the event taking place in the dry season with less rainfall and higher ambient temperatures.
Shanghai is one of the most dynamic cities in the world and the largest financial and innovation hub in China. It will welcome competitors for the third round of the championship on October 3rd-5th with a second race constituting round four in the People’s Republic the following weekend (October 10th-12th) at a venue yet to be unveiled.
Containers and equipment will then be shipped to the Middle East for a three Grand Prix finale to the championship in the Arabian Gulf.
The stunning host venues for rounds five (November 28th-30th) and six (December 12th-14th) will be announced shortly and will pave the way to the Road to-Sharjah-Grand Prix of Sharjah finale on Khalid Lagoon on December 19th-21st.
