ERIK STARK is a long-time title challenger and one of the strongest performers in the sport, though the Swede is yet to join the vaunted few who have been crowned World Champion.
Stark started his racing career at the age of 12 in the Swedish S-250 class. He became the F4-S Nordic Champion in 2006 and was the Swedish T-400 title holder before heading to the F2 World Championship, where he claimed four world titles.
He made his F1H2O debut with Team Sweden in 2012, but had to wait until 2014 to go full-time, claiming his first podium that same year. The Swede spent the following years racing for Maverick F1, Victory Team, and Team Abu Dhabi, achieving ten career podiums, including four wins, across six seasons.
After a brief two year hiatus from 2021, he returned to race for Victory Team in 2023 and came runner-up for the second time. A third place finish the following year led the Swede to switch teams once again, returning to racing for Team Abu Dhabi in 2025. Stark goes into this season lining up alongside old rival and fellow Swede Jonas Andersson, hoping to emulate his teammate's success and claim a world championship title of his own.
