ALEXANDRE BOURGEOT hails from a family with boat racing pedigree: his uncle formerly raced at the Rouen 24Hr in the 1980s.The Normandy native’s foray into a racing career of his own is therefore no surprise, and Bourgeot followed in his uncle’s footsteps to race in Rouen, achieving a career best finish of second in 2019.

Bourgeot cut his teeth in the F2 World Endurance Championship and French F2 Speed Championship, going on to win both for his BRT Bourgeot Racing Team. His victories in those categories saw him get the call up to the F1H2O World Championship by Maverick Racing, for whom he has started since his 2021 debut season where he finished 12th in the Drivers’ Championship. The Frenchman went on to finish 14th in 2022, 19th in 2023, 16th in 2024, and 14th last season.
