ERIK STARK returned to the UIM F1H2O World Championship with the Victory Team at the start of the 2023 season after being absent from the series since the first race of 2021. He has taken four career race wins, four second places, four thirds and 12 podiums. He finished as runner-up to Jonas Andersson in 2023 after earning a third-place finish in Indonesia, fourth in China, a pair of fifths in France and Sardinia and the runner-up spot in Sharjah.
Stark was part of the Maverick F1 Team for the start of the 2019 season, the team he raced with for the opening two rounds of 2018, giving them their first GP win in London before joining Team Abu Dhabi and finishing the year as world number two before joining the Victory Team for the first time.
The 36-year-old Swede is a four-time F2 World Champion and made the transition into F1H2O with seamless ease, making his debut in 2012 before entering full-time from 2014 and claiming his first podium in China. Two more podiums followed in 2015 but his season was interrupted by a crash and a subsequent hand injury. But Erik returned to round out his year by taking his first pole position in Sharjah.
Stark started his racing career at the age of 12 in the Swedish S-250 class. He became the F4-S Nordic Champion in 2006 and was the Swedish T-400 title holder before heading to F2.
