ALEX CARELLA is a naturally talented driver and a four-time world champion in his ten years of racing on the tour, winning his first title in only his second season.

Coming from F2 where he had some success but never a world title, he joined the championship in 2010 with Mad Croc and won his first Grand Prix in only his third start in Linyi, China.

In 2014 and 2015 he finished runner-up in the title race, regaining his title in 2017and guiding Abu Dhabi to their second Team Championship. His strike rate is impressive, winning 16 Grand Prix from 62 starts, picking up a further 15 podiums and 16 pole positions.

He started his career in 2000 in the Italian T-400 class where he finished fourth. He moved on to F1000 in 2002 winning the Italian title in 2003 and the European crown in 2004. He took his first world title in 2009 when he won the F1000 championship.
